Backup & restore

Galla Peti keeps your data on your phone. Make a backup regularly — if the phone is lost or reset, a backup is the only way to get your items and bills back.

Create a backup​

  1. Open Settings → Backup & restore.
  2. Tap Create backup.
  3. Choose where to save it — Google Drive, email, or your own WhatsApp.

The backup includes your shop details, logo, items, all bills and your bill numbering. Keep it safe: it contains your shop's data.

Restore on a new phone​

  1. Install Galla Peti on the new phone.
  2. On the welcome screen, tap Restore from backup and pick the backup file.
  3. Check the shop name, items and bills shown, and tap Restore.

Restore on the same phone​

Settings → Backup & restore → Choose backup file, check the preview, then Restore this backup.

Restore replaces data

Restoring replaces the items and bills on this phone with the ones in the backup. Create a backup of this phone first if you might need its data. Printer settings on the phone are kept.

Bill numbers continue from the backup, so there are no duplicate invoice numbers.
